VB6 Anwendung auf Vista läuft langsam mit vielen "FAST IO DISALLOWED"

Question

Ich habe einen Client, der eine benutzerdefinierte VB 6-Anwendung läuft, die sie auf Vista geschrieben haben. Die Anwendung wird unter Vista installiert und läuft einwandfrei. Auf einem Vista-PC wird die Anwendung jedoch geladen und läuft sehr langsam. Ich hatte eine Prozessmonitor-Ablaufverfolgung und ich sehe eine Menge "FAST IO DISALLOWED" -Ergebnisse sowie andere Probleme. Was kann "FAST IO DISALLOWED" verursachen und wie kann ich es beheben? Ich denke, Sie könnten feststellen, dass Fast IO-Ausfälle normal sind (die API wurde entwickelt, um Fast IO zuerst zu versuchen, dann Fallback zu mehr traditionellen Ansatz bei Ausfall). In beiden Fällen wird dies eher ein Problem mit der Maschinenkonfiguration (z. B. ein Treiberproblem) als ein Programmierproblem sein.
