ViewPager mit FragmentPagerAdapter wird nicht angezeigt

Question

Ich benutze Xamarin und dies ist mein zweiter Versuch, einen ViewPager zum Laufen zu bringen. Ich habe eine Anwendung von Grund auf mit Bezug auf diesen Weblink erstellt: http://looksok.wordpress.com/2013/10/26/android-support-v4-viewpager-tutorial-including-source-code/

Die Anwendung kompiliert, entfaltet, aber nur ein leerer, schwarzer Bildschirm angezeigt wird.
